At Genesis, we aim to empower individuals and their families impacted by addiction to take back control of their lives. Our Programs
Here at Genesis, where we empower individuals to take responsibility for their actions while enjoying their freedom. Our unique 30, 60, and 90-day phased programs adapt to each person's journey towards sobriety. As residents progress, they engage in part-time work, vocational training, or volunteer opportunities, or day programs fostering a sense of purpose and fulfillment. Genesis provides the essential foundation for a successful transition into a sober lifestyle, supporting clients every step of the way.
MAT TREATMENT
Medication Assisted Treatment
MAT treatment is the use of medication in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies for the treatment of substance use disorders.

Drug Testing
Regular Random Drug Testing
All residents are randomly/ regularly drug tested with urine and / or Breathalyzer. The cost is included in our program fees. Genesis have a Zero Tolerance Policy for Drugs or alcohol use. This is NOT ALLOWED and can result in Transition to Higher Care, Discharge, Detox or Rehabilitation.
IOP Program
Intensive Outpatient Treatment
IOP programs provides intensive therapy and counseling for mental health conditions or substance use disorders, offering a structured, flexible treatment option that allows individuals to maintain their daily routines while receiving support.
12- Step Program
12 Steps To Maintaining Abstinence
12 - Step Program is peer/group based mutual help program for alcoholism, drug abuse and other addictive and dysfunctional behaviors. Providing monitoring and accountability reinforcement with attendance.

Meet the Founder of Genesis Independent Living
Welcome to my Sober Homes! My name is Christine Roberts, and my journey in wellness and health began through my family's experiences with mental health issues. Raised by my grandmother, I learned the importance of care and patience, which guided me to work with cancer as well as hospice patients at Broward General. With my background as a PCA and Phlebotomist I am dedicated to supporting individuals struggling with mental health and addiction, as I believe in the transformative power of compassion and understanding. Together, we can create a path to recovery and wellness.
Meet the Administrator of Genesis Independent Living
Hey there! I'm Towana, and I've spent over 30 years in the corporate world. With a degree in Business and Visual Communication, I’ve got the knack for keeping things organized and running smoothly. My journey into wellness started when I became a Certified Health Coach, motivated by my son's struggles with addiction. I’m excited to be part of Genesis Independent Sober Home, where I can help residents with their path to healing and support them every step of the way!
